1. When dropping out of flight, click back 'into' flight before hitting the ground. Otherwise, your may face the same tragedy that our dear friend Ren did:

To his defense, he was trying to land on me and did 'intentionally' kill himself here. Even so, he ended up tea bagged repeatedly by Durron. I didn't think to screenshot it until it was already too late, but you can see a bit here as Ren rezzed.

It wasn't a pretty sight. So please remember to switch back 'into' flight before landing....and if you must kill yourself to prove a point, then make sure you don't leave yourself vulnerable to other people's silliness.

cheers

Or if you have the rep reward from the skyguard you can use the cape to slow your fall also. Ren needs to keep that in mind. Slow fall= no death.

the cape is nice for druids who like to try to PvP in the skies.

But, you need to have the cape on hotbar - it has to be 'clicked'/used.

Annnd - it only works for 10? 15 second?

So, if you click it TOO soon, you will slow fall. Then, resume fast fall. and still die

Nagrand is a GREAT place to 'practice' falling. and aerial PvP

If you are feral, you can also target someone on the ground and feral charge, which 'interrupts' the fast-fall.
