PostSubject: Nature's Grace alumni -   Tue Oct 09, 2007 9:52 am

This has come up a few times, so I thought I would mention it here.

As some of you know, a good bit of Burnt Offerings start came from members of Cenarion Circle's first all-Druidic guild, Nature's Grace (it may have been the first on any server, but I can't confirm that yet).

At one point, NG was over 100 members, and ONLY Druids/Druidesses - no alts. We tried to remain friendly with Tauren, esp. when in Moonglade, but also had a dedicated group of BGers, as well. I eventually was awarded the title of Guild Advisor.

What some people do not know is that NG was a training ground for some of the finest Druids/Druidesses to grace the game. It was the first guild to really WORK at making feral MTs, OTs, and resto MHealers, as well as explore hybrid options, research gear, etc. (at least, Alliance side). We also did aall-Druidic dungeon runs, as well as lots of fun events.

Many of our former members stayed on at CC; some of them stayed independent (like I did); many went on to other guilds, and some to other servers.

Here is, in no real order, a partial roster. If you have anything to add here - esp. who someone is & where they're druid(ess) is now, pls. post away!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Darq - duh! Me ^^. This was my very first character, and on CC, which is currently my only server (although I almost moved to Farstriders awhile back). Darq has ALWAYS been balance, and never respecced. I was balance before there was innervate, and before moonkin. And and anyone who plays with me now knows why I am always smiling ^^ - It's because I'm about to kill something. (I do have points in resto, but it was just for Insect Swarm and Innervate)(but now I am okay with healing, as long as I'm not forced to!) I've also been a skinner/LW this whole time, and just hit 375 in LW 2 weeks ago.
Zeho - Zeho is an awesome Druid, who just recently moved to Etrigg server. He was feral when feral wasn't very cool. He's also a stone-cold killer, with over 11k kills. He has a great sense of humor, and he is dearly missed from CC. He saved me a bunch of times, back when there was a lack of spellleather availabe, and you had to give up the armor, or give up the damage.
Talek - Left CC at some point. I am fairly sure he is on either on Duskwood or Medivh server now. Anyone who knows, I'd love to hear!!!
Adelin - was gone, then back ,then gone again. She started NG, and it was she who recruited me in Teldrassil, after chasing me down from hearing me play & watching me in Darkshore. I didn't really want a guild, but she was persuasive. We've been through a lot in the past few years, and I hope she comes back to the game as time permits. As far as game going, she was a fearsome MT, and held her own just fine against some of the best warriors and bosses out there. And, she let all of us - well, be us. Spec & play & chat however we wanted, as long as we were respectful of ourselves & others.
Itrix - our other partner in crime, Itrix is one of the prettiest girls to ever play wow in real life (she's Playboy-pretty pretty, honestly). She was also the one responsiible for getting us into the most trouble, from stealthing, PvP, going into dungeons we had no business being in, etc. She also looked hot while doing it (fashionista that she is - warbear woolies for the win!). She is still on CC, as is Peaceful, her underdressed, overpowered paladin. She's just started leveling past 62, so you may bump into her!
Eek! - And by that I mean my beloved Eekomo. Eek has remained on our server (level 57), but now plays Issabeau, her 70 NE hunter, much more often. However, she just brought one of her alts over to BurOff, so I hoooopppee I can get Eek over here, as well ^^
Renigus - or Ren, as i call him. My current feral-resto hero, and probably the next Druidic Class Leader for us. ^^ He's level 60, and moving ahead fast these days. If you need something, and Dasz or I aren't on, he IS your 'go-to' guy. He was in NG with us, and Ade got him to Burnt Offerings before I got here - I think he was one of the signing charter members???
Daszunes - speaking of Dasz!!! Dasz isn't here as much as he'd like to be, but he is also a server long-timer. Also of the feral-resto flavor. And another level 70. If you need a tank, and/or someone patient to teach you about tanking, Dasz is the guy.
Trios - For anyone who questions feral viability, go see Trios in person (he's still in CC) or on his armory page. That's the bear in purples, with 4/5 of the Malorne pieces. Most of the other are PvP vendor items. The guy who tanks Kara. Yeppers, also a 70 Druid NG alum.
Ectrissar - One of the first ones to explore balance with me (when everyone else was telling druids to respec full resto), still on our server, level 70, and a formidable hybrid (balance-resto). Ect was one of my explore buddies, and we would sometimes just go to places, well, because we wanted to see them. ^^
Talonir - Tal is a 60 on our server, but has been gone from the game for so long, he doesn't show up in armory, except as a name. Crying or Very sad He was always willing to help out with lower levels; it was longer for him to reach 60 because of it!
Natureswarth - Everyone always though he meant naturesWRATH, but he insists it was no mispelling. He has since moved on to Bloodhoof server, but we all remember him well. He was also of the feral persuasion. one funny note: Nswar HATED the AH & peoples (ooh, gotta get this! Have to grind that! Need to buy blahblahblah), and his gear was always whatever quest rewards he got, or drops he found. He also hated being sent/given stuff, as well - so his gear was always kinda raggedy odds n ends of stuff. But he was also very courageous, brave, noble - I remember him yelling at high-level Alliance once for raiding horde in Crossroads for no apparent reason. I miss him, too.
Dalavar - the other Dal, Dalavar. Unfortunately, not only is he no longer on our server, but there are 7 male night-elf druids on other servers named Dalavar. Sad 2 of those are 70s; I'd like to think one of those is him now. Smile
Makaha - Another balance Druid, Maka is still on CC, level 61, and has quite a few honor kills under his belt, as well.
Briseis - cheese!!! Bris wasn't my friend in real life, but she was my protege in game. Full-blown balance Doomkin to be. She is lvl 53 now, still on our server, but a member of the Crossbone Vanguard.
Anthet - is still in CC, in a guild called The Kitty Cat Club. She's now a level 60 kitty, but her armory page says she is inactive.
Aindre - another one of 'those' - 14 Aindre NE Druids in armory, and none of them on CC.
Driizztt - The spelling was always rough, so we just called him Driz. Driz is just a level 37, and still on our server - so I am guessing he has an alt. He did get his arena master trinket after all, it seems!!! Very Happy
Raspie - was a druidess who I did not know very well, but she is alive and kicking - a level 68 feral druidess on our server, no less! She also participated in guild runs & dance parties. lol!
Ukel - has disappeared!!! There is now a lvl 21 warlock named Ukel on our server, but my Uke is gone!!! Sad
Melispea - Mel, as she was known back then, has disappeared from the game entirely. No character by that name on any server.
Chetara - still on CC - I thought she was lost!!! 68 Druidess, with a character perfectly befitting her name. Obviously of the feral persuasion, her dash was ALWAYS on cooldown, right up until she got travel form. ^^
Rendclaw - Rend we called him, to keep him separate from Renigus. He's a 59 Druid who was another mold-breaker, in how he chose to use his talent points. Currently, he is a 5/40/5 build, but all towards feral overpower.
Keris - there are 14 Keris NE Druids in WoW, including a 24 on our server. 4 pages total, so unless it is some common character name, i am afraid it was a Blizz name-generated name. But that level seems too low - I may mail to see if that one is 'ours.'
Foulkor - Foulkor had always said he had friends on other servers, but spent time in CC because of us. He has moved out of CC, and is now on the Antonidas server.
Kanoka - seems to be gone from the game completely.
Aeleron - now level 58, Aeleron's new home is on the Argent Dawn server.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I know that isn't everyone, but it is a start. ^^

oh - a link to our old website; feel free to look around, but it isn't maintained, and a lot of pics & stuff are gone now- http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=29989&TabID=268792

Love,

~Darq~

I have to agree. It is cool that you can remember all of that. I have brought up the possible re-creation og Natures Grace. But I dont know as of right now. I have alot of things that are in my head at the moment to include that I am working late at night. Anything is possible. I wnat to know thoughts on this. Would people want to do this? An all druid guild. It is gonna be hard to start since this would be really limited to just one class. Please let me know what all your thoughts are about this.

I'm not sure about re-starting NG, myself, of if I would move D there, to be honest.

However, I did think about mailing all these people with the idea of a 'NGAlum' chat channel.

We have one called FryeFriends for basically the same thing, so people in SF with alts in other places can keep track of what is going on with SF.

oh - we did find other members, as well -

Haozhao - another of the purply-70 ranks, Hao is *STILL* no farmer, and still on our server. Balance-resto, and engineer??? I still run into him, but not as often as i could or should.

Bengal - like Chetara, his name fits his build. Level 51, and still on our server. Needs to push himself away from his alts (mains, now, maybe) long enough to at least get to outlands & come play with us.

Midorichan - Level 70 Druidess who seems to have wound up balance-resto, but sporting restoish gear just now. Still on CC, although somehow i never really see her out & about.

Agrus - I feel bad for missing him above!!! Agrus was one of our flexy-druids; he was very comfortable with just about anything - PvE, dungeoning, questing. He had real tenacity for getting the drops he wanted, but he has been away from the game for a few months now.

Thethis - there are 3 male NE Druids in Armory; none on our server now, although the one on Daggerspine is now a 70.

And apparently, Ukel DELETED his druid - so says his younger brother, Bebus. No idea why he'd do thatt makes me sad.

~Darq~

Gelarion - How i missed Gel is beyond me, but wheels turn wheels in my hamster cage. Another of our feral druidess alum, now level 60, and still on CC.

It was just a thought. I hvae been kicken around the idea though of doin a rouge guild. It just feels so strange that Dasz would leave B.O.

I can handel an alt to leave, but I dont think that I could for my main. I have been through alot with this guild with Dasz. I dont know what I would do with out my wow friends. They all are there for me when ever i need them. Even when it dosnt concern game.

No, lol, but that is a start for my world domin............. for a new guild. The rank is well, amusing. It put a smile on my face. Thanks.

We shall see how it goes. May be a rouge and Druid guild. I think that is a good combination.

In concept yeah it's good. In reality you are narrowing down guild member potential.

Yeah, but it would work. Keep recruiting open to thosse classes, it can work and it would be fun. Guild member potential would be limited, but the possibilities that it would work well would be really good to. Setting up raid's, helping with other people and what not. I know it is work, as is any guild. But it can be done.

But you have to find the right amoutn of cool people otherwise you run into the issues of who gets what since you all need the same gear; major chance for ninjas and drama so you'll have to figure out a way to spread the loot around.
Don't get me wrong I would love to go roll with 4 other hunters and see the damage that it can do Smile Or maybe four other Locks would be sweet too.
