.5 3-shot Setup

One of the most abusive hunter tools is the 3-shot combo against helpless targets. If a target is frozen, scattershotted, entangled, etc., this is an excellent time to 3-shot them. I will go through the freezing trap setup and you can adapt to your particular situation. The nice part about this combo is that you can practice it against mobs since the sequence is exactly the same.

Suppose a warrior charges you in melee...

I was aksking about that in guild chat last night and no one seemed to know anythign about it.

I noticed that Plumb mentioned it in his post on PvP tactics.

Can you shed some light on this? Is it s talent (I have been unabel to findit in any tree)? Is it a spell (I have been unable to find it on a trainer)?

What is it? Thottbott has it as a level 63 Hunter skill. Did it get changed to something else and folk just refer to it as steady shot? I am really confused here . . .

Let pile pur collecctive experiences here.

For a hunter in an instance, pet should be on passive at all times. If you BM watch that your pet is not pulling the aggro away form the MT.

If a trap is not need for the initial pull drop a freeze or freezing trap to the back so the healer can run to it if it gets aggro. Also seeign the big as white spot alerts people that healer needs help. Also can be used by the clothie DPS.

If you pull aggro be careful when feigning becasue if ...

We also need Stamina (for greater health for when things go south) and Inteligence (to up our mana pool for those really long boss fights) and attack power to up our damage meter results and live up to our DPS expectations.

The down side is you do not get to see a whole lot of equipment with more than one stat on them until well past 60 in most cases. But still be on the look out for it and do not hesitate to get a ...

template for a hybrid-marksman, specifically for PvP.

I am still tweeking this build, but if you want to get a graet combo of 1) opening up ranged attack, and 2)melee survival, then this is really good -

A hunter w/ 2 1-h weapons, the slowest, heavy-hit bow/gun possible, etc. means big openers and survival if caught in a melee situation (long enough to get away)

The hunter is a combat class, like the rogue and warrior, but whereas those classes rely on melee attacks, the hunter relies on ranged power. It does have spellcasting ability, but the hunter's spells are supportive ones, used to enhance the hunters natural abilities.

The hunter can also have a combat pet, with the ability to tame a beast at level 10. The pet must be kept happy, to do this you have to feed the pet. Most pets eat meat. As the pet fights, however, it's happiness will decrease ...

Darq can currently make up to 20-slot quivers for arrows and pouches for ammo. I am working on rep for the new 24-slot ones as well.

I realize not many hunters like giving up a whole bag slot for a quiver/ammo pouch, but if you want/need one, just let me know.

unfortunattely, I do NOT know as much about arrows/ammo itself. You will have to use thott, or ask someone else.

An introduction of You Hunter Leader

Hi folk and thanks for the chance to be your Hunter Class leader.

Thought it would be appropriate to layout my general philosophy on the game and hunters. At the recent Guild meeting, when asked if I was interested in being the class leader I said that I had a lot of experience as Hunter up to level 43 as I currently run 4 of them, yet I tended to be a bit out of the mainstream when it came to specing and equipment, so thought it would be appropriate to say here what those eccentricities ...
