Darq can currently make up to 20-slot quivers for arrows and pouches for ammo. I am working on rep for the new 24-slot ones as well.

I realize not many hunters like giving up a whole bag slot for a quiver/ammo pouch, but if you want/need one, just let me know.

unfortunattely, I do NOT know as much about arrows/ammo itself. You will have to use thott, or ask someone else. Question

I gave up a slot for ammo because most quivers have a + to shooting

and that is the best reason. if you are a hunter/huntress, and use a bow or gun (I do know trolls who only use throw, which is cool), then it may be worth the slot. Since hunters usually don't have to cary multi sets of gear, then it is not so bad, if your other bags are big.

Note also that sometimes a ammo pouch or quiver can be had as quest reward, too.

on a related note, there is a big discussion of speed vs. damage. Blizz has balanced it out, mostly, but I have always preferred speed. it is most imp. for when a mob chooses to run - a hard hit bow or gun is no good if the enemy can get out of range. Sad

In my opinion having an ammo pouch is a MUST for any hunter that depends on their shooting for the majority of their damage (read this as non survival). I do not believe that stacks automatically refill the ammo slot if not in an ammo pouch (will have to check on that this evening). And the little bit of haste in shooting is always appreciated, at least by your trusty pet Cool

All my hunters (4 at the moment) have ammo pouches and none complain about the lack of pack space - well at least not too often that is.
