Hello People:

We now have enough peopel where we can and have been doing high end instances as a guild group. Unfortunately I have seen a somewhat disturbing pattern. People need to know their roles and how to play them. Doing high end stuff is different than being taken through SM or ZF or any other place where a lvl 70 can clear and the rest are along for the ride. Persoanlly as a hunter I can sinply feign if it looks liek the group is wiping and save myself the repair bill, other classes are not so lucky so please:

1.) PROTECT YOUR HEALER AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
2.) Warriors: you are the tanks, you should have a bow and a stack or two of arrows for pulling. You need to keep the aggro on you. If for whatever reason, as in pulling locks/mages that a hunter can do with a silencing shot you should be intercepting said target before it hits anyone else.
3.) Listen to the group leader or whoever has the greater knowledge of a particular instance.
4.) Personal pet peeve here: Do not loot until all fghitng is done and watch the f...ing aggro when looting and fighting. If you aggro too many mobs for not paying attention do noit run toawrds your group and get them killed. You stay put and die and wait for a rez.
4.) Non tanks should only be hitting whatever the tank is, use the "F" key to make sure. Exception of course is the crowd control spells like freeze trap, sheep and the druid roots thingy.
5.) Pets are part of the group, protect them too. Also keepthe pet on passive. If your pet strays too for or goes to close to non-aggroed mobs simply put pet on defensive and right back to passive and it will stop fighting and come back.
5.A) Another pet tactic is to hold the pet out of combat and wait until a healer pulls aggro then you can stick the pet to defend the healer.

For the two of you that most likely will come in and say "well I don't do that" just save it. Keep this thread to put in things you see that can be improved and leave names out. The goal is to not make peopel feel lke asses, just to get better. We have a good crowd and good balance of profs; lets use it.

Also, you guys want to try setting up one night a week to practice running instances? or farm night for it?
If you have any cool tricks that help please put them here. Also encourage everyone to come in and read and contribute.
