hih, Drel -

hmmm. It is a little hard to say. I can tell you what I know from Blizz Korea developers -

Blizz designed BC to givve people more option for endgame leveling (mean last 10-12) levels.

They wanted to make soloing, small group, PvP, instancing all option, and play down farming a little.

Maybe the answer is to take what you like to do, and spec base on that?

for example, let's say you like dungeon running. Pally tanks are actually pretty good; pally healers are great. Do your spec and gear make you a good choose for a dungeon group?

With all the demon zones, Prot still seem a good choice for many area.

I love having Rodgort as a prot spec, but know how much people love healadin for dungeon runs, too. Since I do much more solo questing, I will prob stay prot.

really, maybe you would be better off this question on wow pally forums Sad

Aside for some tough elite/big groups Outlands is pretty easy to lvl in. Especially if you are rested. Quests and kills give so much XP that you can get away with doing quests that are green to you so you deal with things slightly weaker than you.

While I have yet to take a Paladin - I believe mine is Holy based - from 58 - 70 but have taken a Priest (Holy) through those levels as I was taking Tag and my Alliance Warlock to 70.

He pretty much soloed his way there and got into a few PUGs and guild groupings to do the quests requiring grops. Before hitting 70 he had only been into The Ramparts twice (pretty much dragged there bu guildies) so you do not even have to do the instance quests and still have an easy time gettign to 70. Even he was constantly fighting stuff 1 - 2 levels above him for the most part and aside from having to drink after every second or third fight, depending on difficulty of tagrets, he did just fine.

So I believe that any build you want with a Paladin will be viable to get to 70. Just a matter of how you want to do it.
